Reading about Felix Baumgartner’s stunning achievement over the weekend reminded me of a Taxgone colleague of mine who completed a parachute jump for charity, raising much needed funds.
This makes her a hero in my book, I can’t see me having the mental fortitude to jump out of a plane!
It shows how things are relative though, you may run a small to medium sized company and are staring at the financial chasm in front of you, the drop may not be as far as the bigger companies face but it’s still very painful when you hit the bottom.
Open your parachute early with a Company Voluntary Arrangement, don’t splatter on the floor, survive the fall and live again!
