Tendai Biti, Zimbabwe’s Finance Minister has announced that the country has £138 and 34 pence in the bank, not him you understand but the whole country, at one point the prevailing interest rate in the country was 230 million per cent.
This is despite the fact that the country has very fertile land and is mineral rich. There is also talk that France is ‘bankrupt’ and the French government have instructed all non-residential premises to turn out the lights to conserve power.
I ‘Googled’ the UK national debt, what comes back makes very interesting reading, the numbers are truly galactic in their magnitude and changing constantly.

The world seems to be on the brink of financial meltdown and most countries owe almost incalculable amounts but to whom or what is the money owed?

As a company director these unrealistic figures mean very little to you but as we all know debt is very subjective, when you are being chased by HMRC for unpaid VAT, PAYE or Corporation Tax, however little you may owe, the pain is very real.
Taxgone understands your pain and can soothe it away with a Company Voluntary Arrangement.
