Carl (The Cobra) Froch comes out fighting. Carl Froch takes on Mikkel Kessler in a super-middleweight boxing match at the 02 Arena in May.

This also marks the return of Sky’s pay-per view boxing since the David Haye – Wladimir Klitschkofight. Such is the demand to see this return fight between the English Cobra and the Danish World Champion the first 10,000 seats were sold out in 45 minutes of going on sale, the two fighters will share the purse that is estimated at just under £5 million.

This is a rematch between the two boxers, the first was a victory for the Dane Mikkel Kessler and it was the first time that Carl Froch had ever lost a fight. Carl (The Cobra) Froch told his rival to expect defeat when they meet in May.

Kessler said “me and Carl is one of the great matchups in the world right now”. Make no bones about it this match it to be one of the fights of the year, “It will be the end for the loser” Froch said, “This is the most important fight I’m ever going to be involved in” said the keen Nottingham Forest fan, he went onto say “Kessler will be difficult to stop, but I can hurt him”.

A must see fight for all you boxing fans.
