Happy Birthday Oprah Winfrey! This lady is worth half a Billion! How can that be so? But then again, how can some footballers earn over £150,000 per week?
Company Directors often forgo their salaries so that their staff can be paid and so extraordinary salaries do grate a little.
If you are not able to take your salary due to cash-flow pressures then you should explore a Company Voluntary Arrangement as any HMRC arrears and trade debts can be placed into a Company Voluntary Arrangement and make you smile again.
You still won’t be able to get near Oprah’s salary but it’s a start.
