Company Voluntary Arrangement Its Not The End

Apparently on Friday the Earth is to be skimmed by a passing asteroid, this chuck of rock snappily named 2012 DA14, will pass within 17200 miles of us.

If it hits Earth the impact would have enough power to destroy London, if it indeed hit London. Scientists are saying that there is no chance of it hitting the Earth however it could take out telecommunication or weather satellites.

I would imagine this would cause deep stress to some mobile phone users, a recent study has shown, on average, we check our phones up to 150 times a day. Thinking about it, there would be more people devastated if their phone stopped working than would be upset that London had been totally destroyed!

I am a little concerned that scientists think there is no chance of a collision, 17200 miles, on an inter-stellar basis, is a hairs breadth away, if it does hit Earth it would be a lottery as to where it would land, one thing is for certain, the impact site would take a bit of clearing up!

It is believed that a similar sized meteor exploded in the air above a remote region of Siberia back in 1908, the resulting blast completely flattened 830 sq. miles of forest, which upset some squirrels, probably.

You may be hoping the meteor falls on HMRC at Worthing; after all they are chasing you for unpaid VAT, PAYE or Corporation Tax! If it did then our experience at Taxgone would lead us to believe this would only stall the relentless pursuit of your liabilities!

You may be better off with a Company Voluntary Arrangement; this is far more likely to be effective at dealing with HMRC than celestial intervention of the devastating kind.
